I needs some help and not the "buy all three" line. I am looking at getting another .45. I already have 2 1911's. I am considering the Dan Wesson 1911Commander bobtail, XD 45, or possibly a Sig 220 combat. I eventually would like to get all three but at this time I can only get one. Please let me know what you think.

Well since you already have 2 1911 guns, I would go for the Sig 220.I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

I like some thing that use same mag...I vote for DW CBOB.
but if U like DA/SA and all most the BEST 45acp in DA/SA, will be Sig P220

Sig 220 is a blast to fire (no pun intended) and a great all around firearm. I am personally a 1911 guy and cannot wait to get myself a 220 once again to balance out my .45s.WTB

Can't really fail with any of those choices, but I'd go for the XD45. Cheapest of the bunch, you already have 2 1911 and it fits the the hand better than the Sig IMO."If you're going through Hell, keep going."Comment

I have all three, and I love each one on their individual merits. Since you already have 1911's, I'd go with the SIG.
The P220 is a fantastic gun, and a superb shooter.Comment

I would also recommend the Sig P220. I have multiple 1911s in .45 and a H&K USP 45, but do not have a Sig P220. But I have heard many good comments on the P220, and like the Sig brand in general. I'll probably buy one in the future.Comment

You haven't stated why you want a third. If there is a reason that would guide your choice. If there isn't a strong reason just buy more ammo.If it was a snake, it would have bit me.

I am looking to round out my collection. My second 1911 is a Sig and it was a deal that I absolutly could not walk away from. I have a 220 in 9mm with the heal release. Shoots great but a PITA to do quick mag changes. I also have a 229 in 357/40 that is a really great gun also.Comment
