After fingering the 43X and being a 43 owner...I can say I wish the 43X has come out first. The 43X is a little bigger, but the ergos felt better me. The slide on the 43 and 43X is the same. Trigger was the same, accuracy was the same.....but like the idiot I am I for got to try the 43X in the 43 holster.... I probably won't be buying one though.

As far as the silver slide...eeh it's wierd for a Glock that's for sure, but it's a CCW gun...hopefully no one will ever have to see it and if they do I don't think they will care about the silver slide..
If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine.

For those that already own a 43, can't u achieve pretty much the same result with mag a +2 mag extension? Rather than purchase another pistol entirely.

I bought and tested extensively both G43X and G48. G48 somehow seems like a better gun.

Well, a G43 is really great deep concealment pistol that is also easy to shoot well. G48 is a mid size that is good enough for carry, range, HD etc. Glock 43X is somewhere in the middle.

                    That is true. :face palm:

Not to mention in a 10 round magazine state it meets that efficient frontier.

Handled the 43X and the 48, picked the 48. Took my 43 and 48 to the range, put the 43 slide on the 48 frame to make a "pseudo 43X". Can't compare the two for shooting comfort and accuracy in my hands, the 48 won hands down.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Yep. I bought both 43X and 48. 48 is AWSOME. 43X is like my 43 with longer grip. Ok. Just ok. Now G48 is my favorite off duty warm weather gun. Very accurate out to 25 yards with issue ammo.

I have a G48 in jail right now, and already have a new G43 complete upper for it.

I like the G43X but didn't like the silver slide, and figured I can now basically have '2 guns in 1' with the extra slide.

I don't think so. Once Shield Arms releases their flush fitting 15 round mag, I think the 43x and the 48 will be game changers.

The longer grip makes mag changes and longer range shots easier. It prints a tad more than the regular 43 but I think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

I like silver color of the slide. I think it breaks up the typical boring as heck Glock look. Too bad it looks like a Kahr, LOL.

I don't like the slide color, but I'll just krylon mine and fix it. Other than that, it's a Glock. It works, conceals well, and fits in my 43 holsters. I'm happy with it.
