    Nighthawk Agent 2

While at Shot Show I stopped by Nighthawk Custom to check out what they had. I've always been a fan of the Agent 2 since seeing pictures of them online. I start talking to the rep and tell him how I'd love it buy one but I can't since I'm in Ca. Then he tells me that they now do full custom builds off Springfield frames. He said I could them an MC Operator frame and they will build it to the exact specs of their Agent 2, the only difference will be that it has the Springfield frame.

I was extremely interested and just sent them an email to get all the details and pricing. I plan on copying this one I saw at Shot, stainless steel with the TiN barrel. I'll keep you guys updated as things start to progress but I'm excited about this build.

Good to hear they are doing it.

There are few high end companies that serve CA market in similar ways, so having one more is always a welcome news. Can't wait for the roster to go away. Hopefully SCOTUS grants cert in Pena case - it's currently sitting in front of them...

I will. If I recall from Shot the rep said it was $2200 for the work, and an extra $400 for hard chrome and $200 for the TiN barrel. But, I'll let you know for sure once they reply to my email.

Yep, I got the same quote last year $4500 based on MC operator frame which would cost another $800-$1000. Now, when you add new HNC optic cut, u need to add extra $400 on it. so total sum would be $4500+400+$900

If you order one, put something in the notes and make it clear that for 5K, you would expect that grip safety to be blended better.

And don't forget to tell the cop who pulled you over that your taxes are paying his salary...

$2200 did seem really cheap when they quoted me at Shot. So, I’ll see what they say now

I believe they gave my BIL the same quote at SHOT last year. As soon as I heard it I was about to throw down the cash. Then when I got the real quote back, I quickly stopped boxing up my MC OP...

Maybe $2,200 is the wholesale price if you were a dealer. Or the guy who quoted you the price didn't know what he was talking about.

basically we pay the full MSRP price with our own frame.
