    "Accurized" Colt Python anyone?

"Today, the Colt Python Elite is carefully hand-honed at the Colt Custom Gun Shop. World renowned for speed and accuracy (accurized to shoot a 2" group at 15 yards)"

Wonder what kind of groups it shoots out of the box if it needs to be accurized to shoot 2" groups at 15 yards.

That's prob a max/avg spec given they don't know whose ammo, and what type of ammo, will be used.

I've shot a buddy's King Cobra (357) and Anaconda (44) and these stock guns are very accurate w/good ammo. So was the regular late-60's vintage Python I shot.

Let's just call this ad some marketing hype. I think it most likely wasn't written by a shooter...

Has to be a typo. Probably meant to read:

World renowned for speed and accuracy (accurized to shoot a 2" group at 50 yards)"

My Python wouldn't have a problem doing it with the its preferred loads and an equally good shooter. I can't see the sights well enough anymore to do it, but I do have a target I shot from about 15 years ago fired from a rest with 5 shots into slightly less than 1.75 inches @ 50 yards. The sixth shot opened up the group to just over 2 inches.

Assuming you don't get a lemon (every gun manufacturer has 'em), I'd bet that the average Python is capable of 2.5 inch or smaller groups @ 50 yards from a machine rest with the right load.
