MPX Question

The MPX was never a rostered gun to the best of my knowledge.
You should be able to transfer a MPX with a compliant maglock system via PPT. Some FFLs won't touch it and there's not much you can do about it other than taking your business elsewhere. There's good FFLs who will handle this in almost every part of the state.
The MPX is an assault pistol, absent a compliant maglock device, for a number of reasons--it has a second handgrip, ability to accept detachable magazines outside the pistol grip, a barrel shroud, etc. THe Patriot Lancer MPX maglock should resolve this problem. In case it wasn't obvious, nothing I write here should be interpreted as legal advice. -

Awesome, thanks! And one last stupid question- even if it has a maglock device installed, I can NOT buy one from out of state because it’s not on the roster, correct?Comment

Unless you have a roster exemption (are a cop, family out of state, etc), then yes that's correct. In case it wasn't obvious, nothing I write here should be interpreted as legal advice.Comment
