Gen 5 g19 slide on a Glock 45

Will a gen 5 Glock 19 mos slide fit on top of a Glock 45? Iam planning to put a Glock 45 with an gen 5 glock 19 slide mos with a delta point pro on my ccw

I think it should. The 45 has a fullsize frame with a compact slide.

Yes. There’s a few videos out there showing people comparing the Gen 5 G19 vs. the G45, and they even go so far as to put the G19 slide onto the G45 frame and put a few rounds through it without any issues.

In fact, they will also work on Gen 4 19 frames. And Gen 4 19 slides will work on Gen 5 frames by only changing the rear plate to Gen 5.

How does the G19X frame "FDE" color compare to the Gen 4 FDE frame?

I want to say it looked like the G19X FDE frame was a little bit lighter looking than all the other 2-tone FDE Glocks, when I was looking at them last weekend but the lighting wasn't the greatest. Just wondering.

It's definitely different. The Lipseys/Vickers FDE is darker. The 19x is more a lighter yellower shade.

I think the 19x slide matches the old FDE better frame than the cerakoted one it came with. I'll try to get more pictures later.

In my county all serial #’s of the gun must be present & match, so make sure you use the barrel serial number that matches the frame so everything matches up.
