Head over to the Brian Enos Forums. There is a whole section on mods and hot rodding CZs...It the best source out there. Better than what you will get here.
The first thread by Atlas has all the info you will ever need to DIY....If you want change you have to put in your 2 cents, you can't just sit on the sidelines and whine. -

I had Cajun Gun Works pro package done in-shop on my SP-01. Took about 2&1/2 months, was pretty expensive, but the trigger is phenomenal. I absolutely love it and plan on getting my other CZ's done in-shop. Best of luck!Comment

You can buy the CGW parts and do it yourself. Saves you some money. Its harder than a Glock install, but easier than handfitting 1911 parts.Comment

SAO or bust!
CGW’s Pro-Package for the 75B Series Manual Safety. Fits the classic lock work full size and compacts that use a firing pin block. Everything you need to transform your full size or compact CZ into a smooth, crisp, durable, and reliable world class weapon. This is our top upgrade for self defense, range, home defense, and weekend shooting events. USPSA legal in all classes. Legal for all IDPA classes excluding IDPA-SSP. Looking for SAO (Single Action Only) kit? We recommend our Standard Package with the addition of either of the SAO triggers listed below the package. Want to upgrade on a budget? We recommend our Standard Package part number 75100, which includes everything in our Pro-Package without the upgraded CGW disconnector and trigger. We strongly recommend our part number SP, starter punch for the installation of this product. Installation Instructions

Depending on your intended use you may want to put about 700 rounds thru before you do anything. I like mine fine after it smoothed out.Comment

Love the CGW pro package on my SP01. I shoot USPSA production with it so I kept the DA/SA. With a black hammer spring I have just over 7lb DA and 2.8lb SA. Self installed in a few hours. Totally worth it when you get the better trigger shape, short reset and reach reduction on top of it.
With 147gr at 925fps and a yellow recoil spring it shoots flat and softComment

CGW pro package and DIY is a great option- if you are truly a discerning USPSA shooter. It will lower the trigger to ~3 and a half pounds single action and smooths the double action quite a bit. If you don't like the travel on double action and will not be shooting it competitively- the reach reduction sear is also very good- or go single action only. If you do choose to switch to single action only- you will not be able to compete with it- and the firing pin block is also removed which may be a safety consideration.
If you bought the gun because you like it, and are only going to shoot at paper- you need to dry fire it a thousand times or more. The stock trigger wears in quite well and smooths out considerably. The Cajun gun works parts make a good trigger better- but that doesn't really matter if you aren't able to do your part.Comment

OP, where are you located?
You're welcome to try out my cajunized CZ.Originally posted by longrange1my gun shoots better with shiny brass...plus not only does the shiny brass make me look like a pimp at the range if the sun catches it just right it blinds the guy next to me which improves my odds of winning the match.Originally posted by XDJYoFull size.
