I shoot it pretty dam well on my re quals. Some times better then g19/lc9 at 15 yds

I generally only carry when im mountain biking. 95% time its g19 with 16 rounds of lethal defense
That's a very nice tip. Did not think of that but makes sense. Thanks!

Its faster to reload. I would get a bit behind sometimes reloading to qualify with 7 shots in under 15 seconds. Ended up just loading the 2 rounds after firing the first 5.

Just learned the 2 space 3 round trick by someone on the youtoob. Wish I could give credit for it.

I carry the Smith 337 Airlite PD, loaded with Speer short-barrel rounds. It weighs less than 11oz empty. The reason I picked this model is the low weight: carrying all day long, every extra ounce matters to me, YMMV. Yes, it has an exposed hammer, unlike the 342. Never had to use it for real, only at the range.

Shooting it is unpleasant. After 30 or 50 rounds, I have blisters on the palm, and I start flinching. But the first dozen rounds it can be shot somewhat accurately. With the short sight distance and the bad ergonomics (small grip, long trigger pull) it will never be a good target gun, but at short distances, it does the job.

I also own a 360 PD, which is only an ounce heavier, but can be loaded with full-house 357 loads. That thing is nasty to shoot. I've never shot more than 5 rounds of 357 with it - never reloaded a second cylinder, because after the first 5 rounds, my hand is done for.
