I'm trying to get a Beretta all Inox 92FS either Brigadier (Made in USA) or Standard (Made in Italy) . Which one is better in your opinion and why. Now I know lot of people are gonna say the brigadier. But I want to know why. I have no prior experience with either except holding them.

92FS Brigadier or Standard

Only difference is in the slide. The Brigadier is reinforced in the area around the locking block to help prevent the slide breakage some of the regular slides experienced in military trials. It wasn't a regular issue and I have not heard of any slide separations since. I don't recall if the front sight on the Brigadier is removable, but that would be nice if you want to replace the front sight with a tritium one......you won't have to send off the slide to be machined for the lamp. Both are fine. I might pay a small premium for the Brigadier, but not too much more as the regular 92FS works fine in my eyes....I got 2 of them. -
Personally, I'll go with the Italian babe.Comment

No experience with either? Once you get some you may want to choose something other than Beretta. Guess if I had to choose, I would go with the US Brigadier. Are there any support issues on the Italian model over here or is it same ol?"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." -- Thomas Jefferson
