    Had one.
    Good:
    - Since I live in Kalifornia , it's on Roster.
    - It's not a hidden gem, you can find it every where and the price is right on $1K
    - The most accurate .45 ACP pistol of right on or below 1K pistols.
    - The pistol design as target pistol with 6" barrel and adjustable rear sight, the SA and Kimber 1911 9mm Target model it a regular FS 1911 with adjustable rear sight.
    - Polymer lower, steel upper but the recoil is better than all steel 1911.
    - Reliability, I shot close to 2K rds all new ammo on it, not a single hiccup. I do not know how it behaves on reload ammo.
    - This is my bench mark of 4 pistols at one session, the USP Elite shoot better than:
. SA 1911 9mm SS Target model (owned) I paid $1.1K couple year back but you can find one for $0.9K
. Kimber 1911 9mm SS Target model (rent)
. Glock 34 9mm, my friend's pistol, he paid $0.6K for his Glock.
    - The best trigger out of the box for its class.
    - ….. read the other people posts on this pistol.

    BAD:
    - Hard to find accessories.
    - It looks uglier than the other USP's
    - It' too long for carry.
    - Since it is a polymer frame so you can not change grips.
    - ….. read the other people posts on this pistol.

Final thought: if your free life is interfered by CA's Roster and you are looking for .45ACP target pistol the HK USP Elite is the right one, for 9mm then CZ TS is the right one (I owned both).

Great gun, ugly though. I prefer the way it shoots over the expert, ugly though, did I mention that? Traded mine away.

I have the expert...absolutely the most accurate gun I own, I can't seem to miss with it.

I'm happy to have it in the collection. It is a great shooter that handles all my reloads fine. I think it is one of the ugliest pistols I have seen. I have seen it for $849 recently at Sportsman's Warehouse (I think).

Be careful not to feed it after midnight or it will reproduce...

Got one last year. Didn't even realize they were still on-roster until I saw it in the display case at the shop.

I've only had it out once. The first 10 rounds I put through it went into a half dollar-sized group at 7 yards, which is pretty good for me.

              Pros?
Very cool looking. Beauty's in the eye of the beholder, but I quite like the look.
              Accurate.
              Feels like quality.
I did the paddle magazine release.

              Cons?
Ginormous. Not Desert Eagle big, but getting close.
Barrel uses o-ring bushings that need to be replaced every few thousand rounds (HK does give you a few spares in the box)

I love it. One of my favorite guns already.
