    .22 lr pistol

    Hey guys,

I'm in the market for a .22 pistol.

I though about getting one for my 226 but with the price tag of 360, might as well get a sig mosquito instead.

What would you recommend with a price range of 360.

    thanks.

        Target or Fun ?

Agree with Ojisan, Ruger or Buckmark if you want a solid target type pistol.

The Mosquito is nice, but more of a fun gun (like a Walther P22) than a target gun.

You can never go wrong with a 22 pistol. They are addictive, be careful

how much is the walther p22?

the .22 lr conversion kit is nice but the price tag isn't.

I though about picking up an Benelli nova with the money I'm spending on the .22 lr conversion kit.

But I would rather have a .22 lr pistol instead.

How's the walther p22? I shot a mosquito and I like it, however I wish the frame was bigger though.

                Ruger 22/45 > Browning Buck Mark > Beretta Neos > Ruger single six > Hawes/J. P. Sauer single action revolver > Heritage Rough Rider 22 > Sig Mosquito > Walter P22 > conversion slide > s&w U22.

IMHO, with all the 22 I have personally tried (not all conversion slide).

                    SQUITO!
finally got my squito dialed in. My manual wasn't specific on ammo, only says CCI mini mag AFAIK. Called sig and they said use mini mag 40gr ROUND nose ONLY. I've gotten 4 fail to fire in 500 rounds. All but one went off after the second pull.

I tried federal champion 36gr in my buddys and it worked pretty well except one.

used with 5 mags from a member here for $350. Good deal considering the extra mags.
