The one I tried was hard to rack, and my stubby thumb couldn't release the slide very easily.

One reason is because it has a safety, cocked and locked is a no go for me... & the decocker is off-roster

I had a Rami for a year. It was reliable and concealable. Sohum63 is right about the trigger being an issue for some people. For me, the grip was too short front to back and the trigger too curved, which made for an awkward trigger pull with my larger hands. But the dealbreaker for me was that the Rami sight cuts wouldn't accept big, bright Truglo sights, which I need because my vision is too weak for tiny sights. I traded my Rami for a CZ B Compact about a week ago. I disagree about it being ugly - to me it looks better than most plastic guns.

+1 more for the decocker. Would be in but Ca says we can not have it, you know for the kids.

Decock it manually before leaving the house. It's not hard to do safely, and if you're concerned, put a bucket of sand in the garage where you'll point it while decocking it

I looked at it, but I don’t carry guns with safties on them. I’d prob buy it if it had a decocker

Personally, when it comes to a sub compact I want something lighter and thinner.

Why not carry in double action? The safety won't engage in double action.

When I handled one I was surprised at how thick it felt. I think with it at that size already I would rather just go a bit bigger with a PCR or P-01

I disagree with the "it's ugly" statements, I think it's a beauty. Regarding the weight, it does feel a bit heavier than say a Glock 26, but I feel that it's more ergonomic than the 26, so I don't see the couple extra ounces being an issue when carrying. No decocker is probably the only negative I can see.

The idea of dropping a hammer on a loaded chamber freaks people out. Now, there's easy steps to take to make that a safe process. Learn (with an empty chamber) how to properly keep your thumb under the hammer and gently roll it out of the way. The rolling method was intuitive to me when I first got a DA/SA pistol--I only later learned that people use the "pinch" method for manually decocking a DA/SA pistol, which boggles my mind. Have a bucket of sand on a stand at a 45 degree angle on the bottom floor of your house or garage as a "clearing bucket" for putting the handgun into DA mode.
