I've got two; a 14-3 and a pre-14 (K38). Probably the best trigger of any double action revolver I have ever fired. I typically only shoot 148 gr wadcutters with 2.8 gr of Bullseye. If you don't reload I suggest you stick with standard pressure ammo around 158 gr. The gun is strong enough for +P but these are target guns so I treat them more gently than my other guns.

      Congratulations.

Have a model 15 with 6 inch ,they only made a few. When I took it to the range the 1st time I shot a 1 inch group. People started looking and I just put it down While I was ahead .

I used to have a 4 inch Model 15 that was a sheriff department gun. It was in very nice condition. Paid $150 for it many years ago. J&G had dozens of them that they brought to the show, and the employee working the table went through a half-dozen boxes until we found a nice one. Stolen by a scumbag that worked at the self-storage place.

About a year ago I bought a Model 15 from a Calgunner for $250. It was a steal, I have since discovered. Great shooter, especially after Pachmar grips installed. It's become one of my favorites.

What Barbarosa said. Walmart has American Eagle / Federal 158 grain LRN if you do not reload.

I had one and the accuracy is impressive out to fifty yards
