Glock plus 2 magazine base, reliable?

I was wondering are the Glock plus 2 magazine base extensions reliable?
I would like to use it on my baby glock, I have it on right now which gives it a nice grip and feel. But I dont want to compromise reliability.

Baby glock? Glock 42/43 or glock 26/27?

Since the 19x and 33 round mags come from glock like that, I'd say there good to go.

I use two stock mags with +2 bases for my g27. In reality, it makes room for one extra round, but that makes it a kali "legal" 10 round mag, so I'm not complaining. Each mag has had several 100 rounds through them with no issues. Ironically the only glock mag that I have problems with is a unmodified factory 9 rounder that came with the pistol.

          Hope this helps

Since you already have it, the only real consideration is does this work with my gun, with my ammo, with my shooting style, etc. It may generally work very well for most others, but may not work for you.
            Get out and shoot it!!

Yes I will have the shoot it, other than that I will consider just using my glock 23 mags in it.

As other's have mentioned you won't get +2 with a .40. I've got them on all my 27 mags and they have been absolutely flawless through 1000's of rounds.

Why is it some mags have a rattle to it?

The rattle is just a characteristic of many double stack magazines. When the cartridges hit the transition from the double stack at the bottom of the mag to the single wide at the top a round sometimes ends up with no contact to other rounds. So it is free to rattle.

No issues here with them on my G27.

That's good to know. It seems like on the baby models like 26 it'd be more desirable to stay with a flush mag base so the grip is shorter. On guns like the 30S they have the tenrounder with the Glock extension and I'd rather have 9 rounders if they were flush bases. For some reason these were not made or were unavailable when I was looking for them (G30/30S 9 round mags).

My 26 is easy as pie to shoot with its own mags. Great hump placement for my grip and the pinky doesn't do much to where I'd give up the compact profile of those guns just to rest it... YMMV.

I know i shot alot better when i used my 23 magazine in my 27. So i hope this glock plus extension will work. Has anyone used the galco summer comfort?
