Lot of discontinued guns on roster - and thank goodness. It means you can still import used or new old stock copies from out of state. Colt should have done the same thing instead of leaving us in the lurch.

It's a small investment in case they reintroduce it. Once they let it drop, there's no going back and CA is a big market.

I wanted to pick up a new-in-box Hi-Power last year, but every example I handled at several gun shops looked pretty rough. It was obvious that the tooling at the factory was seriously worn out. Hopefully I can find an older one in decent shape for a project gun.

I first fell in love with a BHP when I was a teenager. I said to myself I would buy it some day. Well about 20 years ago I finally did. Serial #245PP*****. Love it still, but I do not like the sights or the fact it will not take +P. I am thinking of putting Tritium sights by a gunsmith. Do you think I should?

Nighthawk tactical used a genuine Browning HP and tricked them out beautifully. Super expen$$$ive however.

I had Cylinder & Slide add a beavertail, add a Commander style hammer and tune my BHP .40 a couple years ago.
About $600 IIRC
It was worth it.
