Alright I took it out today. It performs as expected. I brought guns that I have had for years but haven’t gotten around to shooting.

The sig was an absolute delight. No issues. It’s a tack driver. I qualified with a 290 on the first go. It’s a keeper.

The glock was sick, it felt really familiar.

The para was cool

The wby was really nice but I need to get a better limb saver. I’m a baby I don’t care.

The HK caused me nothing but problems. The slide just wouldn’t get past the gasket on the barrel. I guess I need to sit down and rack it a few hundred times. Any opinions?

And the socom. I was massively impressed. I was punching a steel plate from 400 yards sitting in a chair using my knee as a rest. It took me 4 or 5 shots to figure out where it was going but after that it didn’t take much effort. Does anyone have any info/experience with the Super Match? I’d love a reason to pick one up this week.

The super match is an insane gun for a bench shooter, but I’m a fan of the socom. Springfield got that one right. If I was going to drop the coin on an m14 style rifle it would be from one of the more botique companies. Bula Forge makes a nice m21 DMR and Fulton Armory has some really nice offerings as well.

It seems there’s not much to complain about with the American P210. I just wish it was on the roster and/or people didn’t ask such a steep markup in the classifieds.

As the title says. I’m very impressed with the new Sig P210 Target. It is such a smooth gun. Everything about it is satisfying to operate. The safety has a great feel, releasing the slide and putting the pistol into battery etc. I’ve got some WC and Ed Browns, and this takes the cake. Plus, it’s a whole lot cheaper. This is the greatest value around bar none.
