I'm in the market for a fullsize handgun. Do all Sig 226's in CA come with a loaded chamber indicator and magazine disconnect safety? Or is it just the MK25/Navy model?

I believe all do. Its why I haven't bought a Sig. Would love to have a 226, just don't want to spent the same money for a CA one instead.

P238, P226, and P229 variations do. The P220, P239, 1911, and SP2022 are LCI/MDC free.Comment

The non-LCI/no mag disco models can be found in the marketplace pretty frequently, in 9mm and .40. You can, also, purchase replacement slides from Sig or Osage and keep the original as an extra.Comment

Midwest guns and osage sell x change slide combos, and tag had stripped slides recently on clearance that you could take your parts off existing slide and lose the lci. I personally took an x change kit and simply removed the upper slide assembly and sold it on eBay. I made $50 on the switch, a free mag and night sights came with the x change slide.Comment

The magazine disconnect is a nonissue. It can be removed in about two minutes.Anchors Aweigh

+1 this.
The mag disconnect can be removed in a matter of minutes.
The LCI can be neutralized by removing it and grinding down the "tooth" that reaches down into the chamber to press against the round. Or, you can buy a whole new slide.Comment
