    Left Handed holsters?

I was looking for some left handed belt holsters for a Sig 228.
I came across Fobus. The picture in the link below shows a right handed holster though. I think that it will fit a 228. Please correct me if I am wrong

Do you know of any other companies that make left handed holsters.

Most companies offer their holsters in a choice of right or left hand draw , you might want to check Blackhawk , Safariland , Bianchi , Galco for example .
I stay away from Fobus personally because I am unhappy with their products and have most of the above mentioned brand , my preference are safariland and Blackhawk CQC/ Serpa .

        how are these?
        Blackhawk
I was wondering what the inside looks like. Is the inside carbon fiber or is it lined with some kind of soft material to prevent any damage to the appearance of my gun.
        -thanks

Fobus is junk. Stick to Blade-Tech, Comp-Tac, and Safariland.

+1 to junk fobus. Real crappy stuff.

I really like Bianchi's line of holsters. I like their leather and accumold holsters a lot.

                Try this one

Many fine holsters at Gould and Goodrich in left and right draw:

I've been happy with my Blade Tech and Comp Tac holsters.

I have one older Blade Tech that cost me about $60 and another one that was only about $20. The more expensive one is made of a Kydex sheet while the less expensive (I was told not to say "cheap" by my wife.) is injection molded. Both serve their purpose.

I've been told by friends to stay away from Fobus holsters, although I do have a couple of their double mag pouches.

The Fobus holsters aren't a bad deal... they're cheap and hold the pistol firmly, I have one for my Walther P99, but my Blade-Tech is much nicer. Blade-Tech makes some great kydex, and Galco and Bianchi make some great leather.

What are you planning on using this holster for? Range duty, competition, concealed carry? Depending on its intended use, the holster recommendations may change.

Just regular carry if im out on BLM land. Most ranges do not allow holster draws due to people shooting themselves or others. Concealment isnt an issue here because of our laws.

Some others have mentioned Comp-Tac, and I will recommend them as well. Blade-tec offers nice holsters, but it may take a long time to get your holster from them.

Comp-tac will have the holster in your hands in less than a week. Service and quality of their product are top notch. I've used their CTAC for CCW work, and I have one of their Belt Holsters for IDPA use.

+1 on Safariland. Their kydex holsters are suede-lined to help protect that finish. If you shop around you can find a good deal somewhere.

I just ordered a Milt Sparks for my Para Warthog and a Mitch Rosen for my P7M8. Both are for CCW (just got approved). So it really depends what you want the holster for and for which gun.

IMO, Milt Sparks makes the best holsters for almost every gun... but Mitch Rosen makes a even better holster for the P7M8.

Also... what is a good hoslter for me might not work for you. We all got muscles (or fat ) in different places around our hip. I guess this is the reason most people interested in hoslters would have more than a few for the same gun to see which will fit them best.

                              Good luck...
