"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ Quiet

Ditto on it being a Springfield Loaded.
Based on the smooth front strap, novak rear sights and full length guide rod.

Ah ok. Thanks. I am looking to get probably a ss loaded 1911.

This was a rental I got, and liked, just didn't remember the exact model.

On another note, is the TRP worth the $ over the Loaded?

Yes if you go to the gym and work out and build calluses on your hand so you can endure the pain of the sharp front strap checkering.
