Post 06-30-2018, nothing can be done to make it CA legal.

Starting 07-01-2018, a self-made/assembled firearms using a polymer receiver needs to have the CA DOJ issued serial number engraved on to 3.7oz of PH 17-4 stainless steel embedded in the receiver in such a manner that removal of it will destroy or significantly damage the receiver.

None of the currently made Polymer80 parts meet the 3.7oz PH 17-4 stainless steel requirement, which means any firearm made from a Polymer80 will not be CA legal.
