    Sig P225 short reset trigger

Is there such a thing? Or can it use one from P220 or P226/229?

Yes, the standard SRT parts do work from what I understand. Reminds me that I need to install a set in my P6. I have heard it suggested to get the P220 SRT kit because it includes an updated decocker lever that prevents frame damage.

Does that mean either one would work in a P225?

What is the difference between the two short reset triggers? I know the P220 set comes with a decocking lever.

I have a stock 225 and sold the one with the SRT. I didn’t care for it on the 225. See if you can can find one to try first.

do you mean the SRT kit or the skinny trigger? The 220 and the 226/228/229 SRT kit will work for the 225. If you want the skinny trigger good luck! They are VERY VERY rare.

Just installed a P220 kit on my P6 (got the new decocking lever also) the other kits do Not include the new lever.. It resets and fires at Exactly half the travel of the Standard reset.. Really Impressive!

                Really? (on both)

I have a short reset trigger on my P226. I thought the parts are different because there's a separate kit for P220. Would P220 kit work on a P226? And vice versa?

I didn't know the skinny trigger is hard to get. I really don't care much for it. I can reach the trigger no problem.

What's so special about the decocking lever included in the P220 kit? P226/9 models don't need it?

Both kits work in the 225 for some reason. The 220 and 225 are identical inside- the 225 was basically a compact P75.
No idea why the decock lever is included with the 220 kit. I have heard that some people use them and some do not. I think it has something to do with how the lever interacts with the sear/safety lever.

Single stack frames in that area are a little different in the way the decock lever is stopped in it's upward travel, the newer decocking lever has a small bump area added to stop it's upward travel so it will not mar the frame.. small upgrade..

                          Very informative, thank you guys

Here's a question related to the decocking lever. There's one that comes with the E2 grip kit for the P226. It appears identical to the stock decocking lever. I put it on my P226 just because I figure it's there for a reason. Is it any different than the stock version?
