I did see where you could send in a non-cut slide and get the Shield RMS cut. That doesn't help me but might help others.

The Shield RMS is priced about the same as the Holosun. Hovering around the $400 mark.

You can get the Dual Powered RMR for that price as well. Is there a downside to the Dual Powered RMR I don't know about I'be never run an RMR before.

RMR Dual, around $400 mark? Does it have the same footprint? Does it have draw backs?

RMR Type 1 around $475-500. Again any draw backs?

RMR Type 2 around $485-525, seems to be the most preferred?

Holosun HS507C around $352, heard good things but not all that much cheaper.

I have a rmr type 2 adjustable 6.5 and two hs507c's. The RMR was about $450 while the Holosuns were $250 each (brownells with 10% discount code). I prefer the Holosuns multiple reticle choice and shake awake. I'd pick the RMR for life and death applications due to its track record for ruggedness otherwise save some money and go Holosun 507c.

I am heavily invested in the dual powered RMR series and love them. Having come from battery powered Leupold Deltapoints, Burris and Trijicons I have purchased nothing else but the duals going forward. At least 4-5 of them. No batteries and plenty bright. I mostly use the triangles and enjoy the high degree of accuracy I can attain from this retical.
Just understand you go that Holosun there should be no way you will easily get suppressor sights high enough to clear that body. Don’t overlook the value of back ups to assist you in quickly acquiring the dot. It absolutely helps.
I run red or green fiber optic suppressor front sights depending on the color of my mini holo. I prefer a contrast between these two.
For the quality and development in the Trijicon series you get what you pay for.
If they were $300-$500 more then others I would suggest less expensive to start with.
But unlike glass where you have to pay $500-$2000 for better quality sight enhancements (traditional scopes) buying a genuine Trijicon brand is well worth it.
You may take a $100 or slightly more hit on resale, but what can you sell a used Holosun for?

Totally different foot print and mounting cut.

Zev offers slides cut specifically for the Deltapoint.

As many have already said, the only optics I am aware of that fit the Trijicon RMR cut pattern are Trijicon’s RMR and the Holosun. It was a smart business move by Holosun to pattern their optic’s footprint over what many consider to be the gold standard of micro dots.

If you are considering the dual illuminated RMR I will just share my own experience and advise against it. I owned and RM08A for a microsecond. It was fine in bright daylight pointing at a target in bright daylight but terrible in varying lighting conditions. If you happen to be standing in an area that was darker than where your target was (like in the shade pointing to a target in the open) the dot washed out. At night, the tritium illumination source was not bright enough for my taste, and the second you’d turn on a flashlight to illuminate the target, the dot washed out. My opinion is to stick with a battery powered dot (user adjustable if possible).

                  x2!

Stick with the RMR06 (3.25 MOA). I like this one because you can turn it very bright for fast acquisition shooting or turn it way down for finer shooting at long ranges. I easily hit silhouette targets at 200 yards with my AR & RMR06

I love the RMRs but have moved to Holosun. Better features (even price aside).

Also yes they are made in China but have one that has 9k rounds of 9mm on it and it has had no issues. Have multiple other ones with 3 to 4k on them including classes and training where they are not babied. With holosun if it dies it will generally die in the first 1 or 2 range trips (qc fail), send it back and get a new one.

I have 11 of their pistol mounted red dots and have not needed a warranty yet I have had one rmr issue from my sample of 4

Would stay away from the dual illuminated, I don’t want anything that auto adjusts and those are dim. Also I don’t agree with the guy above saying have high co witness sights, having to use your sights to find the dot is a problem. Not something you should be doing as the norm. I always have sights but they are black/black and barely make it into the window. I’ve had a good amount of rmr and holosuns. Would say my favorite optic now is the 509t but for that footprint the 507/508 are good to go. The RMR has never done anything that the holosun didn’t for me and I don’t use the circle reticle, just the dot on the holosun.

The 407c is as low as $200. That's usually the appeal of holosuns, they're half the price and competition worthy.
