Cajunized: Pro Package vs Carry Package/SAO Conversion

So my SP-01 was delivered to Cajun Gun Works yesterday and I have 6 weeks or so to decide before I receive that call. This will be mainly be a range gun.

The Full Pro Package is so ever tempting but I'm also interested in the Defensive Carry Package with SAO conversion.

I would like to ask for opinions to those who have tried both variants, to include removing the firing pin block for either package.

    Thank you in advance.

I've got 3 CGW Pistols, all with the Defensive Carry Package and converted to SAO, easily my favorite setup for a range toy. I would confirm with Cajun but I am pretty sure the DCP is basically the Pro Package for a SAO gun. Because these are Range Toys, I have CGW remove the FPB and ask for the best trigger I can get. So they all pretty much have 1mm of reset and a beautiful break.

I first got my 75SA Cajunized and turned into a Copperhead (ask them about it), and from then on I was hooked.

Next came the SP01, because everyone needs a tricked out SP01 in their collection.... 3 pound trigger / 1mm reset.

Then the 97B, because Everyone needs a tricked out 97B in their collection. 2 pound, 8 ounce trigger / 1mm reset.

Lots of people have tricked CZs so I'm sure many more will chime in. Also, get it refinished now as you have a couple of months to save some $$ so you might as well go all out!

      /thread lol

Whoa. Makes me want to purchase another one.

So with the FPB removed, a spacer to be installed is a must? Saw a sear spacer on their site, is that what it is called and for what?

Also, mind taking a quick video of the 1mm reset?

The Pro Package is the Defensive Carry Package with the addition of the Reach Reduction Kit Type-2 (RRK-T2). The extra $88 for the Reach Reduction Kit is well worth it.

Mosin, do you have a CZ yourself?

Although I've read this before, I just remembered now that it kind of make sense to convert a SP-01 safety model to SAO since there is no decocker. It will take more effort to shoot in DA once a round is chambered.

I have 1. Pre-b 75. Nothing fancy. And I have a bunch of parts for it to tune the trigger, but I haven't installed/done anything yet.

Do you happen to have stainless steel bushings and crowned barrels that you can share pics?

Capt Jack, can you elaborate on the work done for your 97B? Is that the E conversion? What's the finish on the frame NP3 or cerakote?

                        Very nice looking guns btw.

Also, with the CGW straight trigger and race hammer, what is the difference in slack/reset with and without the FPB? I think I have made up my mind to go with the Carry Package/SAO conversion but trying to decide whether to remove the FPB or not. Again, just a range toy and no plans to carry or use for HD.
