CZ75 Bull Shadow Magazine issue

Hi all,

I upgraded my CZ75 SP01 to Bull Shadow by CZ Custom, found my factory magazine Mag Well doesn't work any more because the magazine is not long enough to load bullets to the chamber. I consulted CZ Custom, they suggest to replace the magazine pad with their long Base Pad. I can load my bullets however it looks not pretty and out of stock in CZ Custom now.

It would be highly appreciated if anyone could give me better suggestion/options?

On the S2 and with factory 17 rounders, you can shave the plastic base plates on the sides and front to clear the factory magwell. A belt sander works well for this purpose. There are two issues though. One, there is nowhere to grab on the magazine to pull it out in case of a stovepipe. Two, not sure of how durable the baseplates become as you are removing material over the lips where it grabs the magazine body. I'll go through a 4 day class in December and find out I guess.

I don't have a factory CZ75 / SP-01 magwell and I haven't tried it on factory 10 rounders. On Mecgar 10 rounders the above looks like it may work.

My 97B had issues with the top of the magazine base plate interfering with the bottom of the grip/magwell. I had to sand the tops of my base plates to get good function. Like mentioned above, a belt sander works the best. The area where the material needed to be removed on my 97b base plates was at least 2mm thick and I only had to remove a tiny bit, like 0.1mm.

they had these for all cz mags with magwell might have to give them a call, I use they are great extra weight to drop free easy!
