I'm trying to set up my Glock to shoot POA/POI (combat sight picture) like Sig and HK. I currently have Trijicon HD night sights. It initially shot high but I corrected that by aiming lower (the tritium part covers the target). Seem to find a lot of different suggestions and different front sight heights people have used. This is where I'm confused. Thanks in advance

Glock POA & POI?
History doesn't repeat itself but it rhymesTags: None -
Google search sight height calculator.
Dawson Precision can custom make you front sights in any height. Fiber optic or night sights.
Or... Call Trijicon and explain to them what you want and see if they have a solution. -

I have not run many different aftermarket sight options, but I do know that standard factory Glock rear sights come in 4 different heights. The front is standard.
The rear sights (factory) have dashes on the side that show the relationship of POA to POI.
Long dash represents POA, and short dashes represent POI. Standard sight has POA=POI (one long dash).
Front sight is .165" or 4.2 mm (if I remember correctly)
Rear sights are:
7.3mm = 0.287"
6.9mm = 0.272"
6.5mm = 0.256" (standard)
6.1mm = 0.240"
You could probably measure (or find info about) your sights and then use a sight height calculator like this - https://dawsonprecision.com/sight-calculator/ - to figure out which heights of sights you need to have the POI you desire.Hobbies: bla, bla, bla... Someone much more knowledgeable will respond, I am sure...

I think they rate them at 50 yards. Maybe 25. Not sure.
I can tell you that they make a difference even at 7.
One of mine had a 6.9mm rear installed. I was printing about 2" high at 7 yards aiming dead center.Hobbies: bla, bla, bla... Bought a Mosin Nagant... Guns, Guns, Guns...Comment

Here's a recent thread on HD sights shooting 3" high at 7 yds with a Glock.
