I have both the CMC and the Tripp Cobra 10 rounders, both work well in my TRP and MC Operator. Tripp’s are by far my favorite 1911 8 round mags, no other mag touches them as far as quality of parts and design. But that said I think I prefer the CMC when it comes to 10 round mags. Tripp uses just a small then section of plastic to keep you from over inserting the mag, while CMC uses a thick complete coverage of plastic, it is much stronger in this aspect.

I've used them on Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec, A1 Target, TRP Full Rail, blued or stainless.

Chip McCormick is good to go. On a side note, Wilson Combat bought Chip McCormick and you can see the influence in the redesigned Wilson 10 round mag. It literally is the CMC 10 rnd Powemag design with a Wilson logo.
