$350-375 seems about right.sigpicComment

My son and I bought Shields when S&W had the $75 rebate on, LGS had them for $399, $324 after rebate. That's about as good as I've seen price wise. If you can find a used one for $300 in good shape, that would be a good deal. Great shooters by the way, accurate and dependable right out of the box after a good cleaning.sigpic

I paid $475 plus tax for my Shield 9 at Turner's a bit over 4 years ago. Carried it for a while but since then it's hibernating in its original box as I'm carrying other firearms. I only took it out again when re-qualifying for my CCW renewal.
Great gun, super accurate, easy to shoot. Not only my opinion, but that of many experts.
I'm considering selling mine eventually, and I'd be asking $300 like new in the box, with two holsters and some cool extras. Not an offer to sell right now, just for pricing info to the O.P.Comment

I SSE'd a Shield 9 back in the day. Seems like half the handguns in the for sale section here on Calguns are Shield 9's.-- and priced between $350-$400.
I'd PPT one off a Calguns member-- just find the one w the best price and low round count.
As opposed to full size pistols where the round count could be very high, I think since CCW is so rare in So Cal, a lot of people bought Shields the past 3 years and can't CCW them so took them to the range 2-3 times and quickly realized it's more fun to shoot their larger guns.
So I'd think you'd have your pick in the FS section here of very low round count Shields for very good prices. Its a buyer's market for Shields!!Comment
