    question about hi cap mags

I'm going to be selling a fair amount of handguns, most of them have high cap mags. I know I can't sell them as complete magazines, and I know the laws changed on shipping rebuild kits.

So I have two questions, can I legally take the mags apart and sell them with the gun?

if not, can I put a block in them and sell them as blocked magazines?

    Thank you for your time.

If you do the PPT at an FFL who is mag certified you can give the mags to them to block for the new owner.

Can I have the buyer give me the blocks, put them in myself, then hand over the blocked magazines?

Keep in mind that some mags fetch a premium even outside of CA. The catch is that the way the law is written even offering them for sale while you are in Ca is a violation of the law.

Keep in mind those are not high capacity mags. They are standard capacity mags. We live in an artificial environment here. We are conditioned to believe that 10 rounds as normal. When it is not.

"Hey, thanks for buying the gun, since it's illegal to sell or transfer these magazines, I'll have to throw them away. Hey, do me a favor will you? Toss these magazines in the trash can by the door on your way out, thanks!"

I'm kidding...just block them and sell them with the gun as 10 rounders.

If they are the magazine that comes with the gun in other free states, then they are not high capacity. They are standard capacity. We need to start trying to change the lexicon BACK from what the liberals are trying to say it is.
