The most valuable off roster guns are the ones you want. Only you know what you want.

If you wanna make money selling guns; aka buy guns for the express purpose of making a profit, all you gotta do is get a FFL.

Off roster CZs sell at a good premium.

HK VP9, Off roster polys like the G43.

If you can get a good price on any new pistol models released in the last five years, you should be able to sell them quick at a 33% markup.

Aim for a sale price in the 600 to 800 dollar range and you will sell quick. More expensive guns will need to find the right buyer.

Limit yourself to four pistols or fewer, to make it clear this is a collection and not a business.

Careful, based on your above statements you are still considered a California Resident by California's definition and as such bring off roster (importing)firearms could be a serious violation of California law.

California considers people who leave the state with the intent of returning in the future to still be California Residents.

As such all firearms you bring into the state MUST go through an FFL and be on Roster.

Posting on the internet your intent to profit by importing firearms into the state in violation of state law is also not a good idea.

Please consult with a good firearms attorney familiar with California Laws before proceeding.

Seriously if it were this easy we would all be doing it.

Cool guns made after 2017 is a good start.

Good quality Pocket guns (380/9mm, an even 22/22mag snub revolvers) that likely never sold here (CA) to public

Above poster is absolutely correct, what you are proposing if done as you described is a very precarious situation. Also, I seriously doubt anybody in Oklahoma is going to sell you a firearm with a California driver's license.

Been gone from there a while. So these off roster Firearms. Can they be sent to a FFL in CA from out of State? Either for the FFL holders personal use. Or to be resold? Or if they are off roster. There is simply no way to get them to CA at all?

Edit:Sorry I see someone mentioned they have to be on roster even for an FFL. But can an FFL buy off roster for himself to use? Not for resale?

I do have a reason for asking?

NO. Only Roster Exempt people (like some LEO's) can buy off roster firearms from out of state and even those must go through a FFL.

Off Roster firearms can be bought used by a California resident from another California Resident but there are very few ways they can come in from out of state.

it isn't hard to get an out of state drivers license & retain your california license.I have done it a #of times for work.Show other forms of ID to the DMV & don't turn in your old DL.

                              Too fast for me Skyhawk.

There are several threads here about how to get around the roster.
Dual residency is not one of them.

                              1) LE purchase

                              2) Gift from out of state parent/grandparent/child. (Not uncles, aunts, nieces, etc. or step-anything.)
