Ported barrels, optics and lasers

I am thinking of installing an extended and ported barrel on my G20. Will the blast from the extension and ports harm an optic like the Trijicon RMR...OR.... a Laser Max internal guide rod laser?

I'd skip the ported barrel and get a long slide Conversion. After a lot of research , trial and error . And Found that a Long slide with a non Pored barrel and a 21 lb flat wound spring is about as good as it gets .

if you plan on firing this at night or low light- skip the barrel ports idea entirely.
