Bersa firestorm: Good Ca 380?

Is this a good gun? It has the classic lines of the ppk, but is it reliable? Any owners out there please share your opinion.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Bersa pistols. My only niggle is that keyhole in the frame - the mag disconnect can be easily dealt with if you choose.

I would recommend the CZ83 , it's much better quality, and CA legal

I wanted a ppk when I was here in Ca, but in Ca the roster, and high prices for basic used ones were crazy. I bought the bersa as a cheap alternative at turners couple years ago when it was on sale. Took the mag disconnect safety out right when I got home (easy)

It’s snappy for a 380, pretty heavy, low capacity. Not that fun to shoot IMO. I guess everyone is different from what they like.

The CZ83 is discontinued (I'm sure you could find one somewhere). The Bersa is on the roster.

The Firestorm does not have keyhole for lock. The Thunder does have keyhole for lock.
I have a Thunder and my daughter has the Firestorm both have worked perfect.

Bersa gets a thumbs up (owned a thunder) and 9-rd mags are available.

High quality for a very cheap price. Extremely reliable with the factory mags (never had a malfunction) but the ProMags are awful. Fun to shoot, although reasonable minds may differ.

Wouldn't use it (or any other 380) for any application other than a range toy though.

Sadly, many shooters believe that when they purchase sub-par quality copies of proven pistols that have unquestionable & excellent reputations that the inferior copy will somehow adequately perform up to an imaginary round count and lay down on the range at the owner's convenience or at least with plenty of warning.

I own one and its a nice pistol.
Got it for the gf a couple years back.
Its pretty snappy.

I just had some crazy luck. Id thought I'd take my son on a ride to help him fall asleep and decided to go to bullseye sports. There I saw a genuine Walther PPK. I picked it up for $560 otd.
