1911 or ____ for carry?
Tags: None -
We need more information:
Is this concealed carry, open cary?
Are you going to have to carry the weapon around for long periods of time?
What types of threats are you expecting to come across?
Personally I think you'd be better served with something in .40 cal that has a magazine capable of holding 12+ rounds. The Glock 23 is the first gun that comes to mind. This is just my opinion though. -

Keep the USP compact. The .45 is about the best concealed carry .45 you can get. 100% reliable.
And I've been a 1911 man for 40 years. The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.
