    FN 5.7 MKII

Just put some money down on one and am very excited to add to my collection. Always wanted one and have heard good things about them. Feels great in my hand just want to know get some insight from other owners about them. Ammo is gonna be expensive though yikes.

Ammo isn't too bad. I stock up when there's sales on the blue box SS197SR for $15 per 50rds.

Palmettostatearmory.com frequently has the FNH ammo on sale as well as the American Eagle.

It's $25.99 per box now, but watch for the sales. I don't remember if the FN brand was ever $15 per box, but I know the AE has been. I think I last paid $15.99 or $16.99 for the FN blue box.

Looks like I'll have to stack it deep when it comes up on sale. I'd like to get a variety of the rounds too seems like they make alot of variations.

I would pick one or the other as far as ammo goes. The different weight bullets give a point of impact shift. It was all reliable, but I only stack the FN blue box now.

Like someone previously mentioned, Palmetto State Armory. I just double checked and it was $15.99 for 50rds of FN blue box. You just have to wait for their sales

Watched a guy fight his in a class as it was a jam-o-matic. Always thought it was a cool round and would make an awesome walking varminter round. Shot a FN pistol not too long ago. Felt a little more than a 22. Pretty cool concept.

Never had any issues with mine. It does feel similar like a 22

I usually shoot the blue box, as mentioned above PSA has it frequently for $15/box. I picked up a few boxes of the SS198LF but don't shoot it routinely since it is significantly more expensive.

                        Enjoy OP

I tend to have mixed luck with AE stuff. Blue box I’ve found cheap with PSA as well.

Be aware the adjustable sights are zeroed using SS195LF ammo. When shooting 197SR I Find my shots to be lower than POA, and the adjustable sights max out on elevation before being correctly sighted.

Otherwise, I still enjoy my mkii

Love the round and super easy to shoot. Also love loading the mags since they load like AR mags. Just line up and push down, click, next round.

                              That is a sweet gun.

I'd love to get one, but I got too many safe queens as it is.
