    True.

I 'get' wanting to have a good price in an ad; but a few of the 'what value' threads are really 'for sale if I can figure out what price to set' threads.

Sales threads, however, belong in the Marketplace.

No, my question was more whether that was a good source for reasonably close prices, as would be modified by the particular example once it goes on sale. Because if it IS a decent source, then I think we ought to close many of the threads asking for values by pointing to that source.

(No, I don't mind folks revealing their expertise - helpful is nice. I want sellers to use the Marketplace.)

ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

I've never actually used that site before as it seems it wants you to pay for a quote, and alot of the blue book offerings don't seem to be accurate for market value, having worked at gun stores, typically browsing the marketplace is the easiest to look at value, but I haven't seen any on the calguns site to compare. I am not even sure If i am going sell, just curious about an estimate to start thinking if it is worth it to fund a project for something else.

Here are some photos, not the best as it is all oily from the wrapped paper. I don't have a current one with all the accessories (mags, box, holsters etc)

I'm sure he will take you up on that

Many BHP's are over 50 years old so for those wanting one that is one way to not get boned having to pay a CA premium. But they are rising in price everywhere.

I am surprised how much even FEG and Argentine versions can bring.
