    Anyone have one?

pl-mini is built to be an indoor light, shallow reflector with lots of flood. what are you hoping to accomplish with it outdoors?

I have one on my CZ P07. Its a great a light and love how it aligns perfectly without sticking in front of the barrel. I would recommend it, but I have not used it outdoors so cant comment on that

I bought a couple for indoor guns, so I haven't used them outside. I will try it outside tonight and let you know.

          P229R

I have one on my P229R and have been very happy with it. As was previously mentioned the light is more flood than throw but it still illuminated my targets well enough to engage accurately up to 25 yards ( that was as far as I shot on the night course with lights.)

            what kind of outdoors?

checking the backyard or in the middle of the woods?

i tested mine just walking around the backyard and it was good. the light flooding made it easier to see larger patches of area for scanning.
