Right Handed, Left Eye Dominant: Weaver vs Isosceles stance?

As the subject states, which stance do you use or feel more comfortable with if you are right handed & left eye dominant?

I have mainly using the weaver stance but would like to train more using the isosceles stance as most shooters use and the advantages I have read about.

I am right handed and left eye dominant. I usually shoot a little to the left regardless of my stance, though it may just be my trigger pull. I seem to shoot a little better if I cant my pistols a little (plus it makes me feel like a gangsta LOL). Lately I've had some success shooting one handed with my same side foot forward. I can shoot this way with either hand. This isn't really an solid answer for you, but it might give you a couple of ideas to try out. Good luck!

I am also right-handed but left-hand dominant. I mostly use Iso - although my pistol is lined up with my left eye. My left wrist is a little straighter than my right wrist because of this.

If I shoot strong-hand (right-side) only, I will rotate my head such my left eye is aligned with the sights. When I have to shoot Weaver/Chapman, etc. I do the same thing - rotate my head.

Personally, I'd say it is less that of being comfortable (shooting is NOT natural, anyways) but more of practice. I have heard of operators who are better shots with their "weak hand" because of the amount of practice/training they do on it compared to their "strong hand." Much to the point of, they call it the "other strong hand."

Isn't using the Wever stance uncomfortable if you are right handed, left eye dominant since you have to go across your body more?

The Isosceles is comfortable and seems to work well for me.

Due to an injury to my dominant right eye I still shoot the same way as before, but I go through the exhaustion of turning my head to the right just a little. Now I'm left eye dominant. Nature finds a way.
I don't think it matters how you stand if you can hit what you're looking at.

If you're shooting isosceles, the correct way is to keep shooting with the dominant hand as the strong hand (you don't switch to shooting "lefty"), and just make sure that the sights are lined up with the dominant eye (whether cross-dominant or not).

Note that you don't move your head to the side or change anything - from outside it should look like regular isosceles. The only thing that changes is that the gun is a few inches to the side of the dominant eye, in order to line up correctly with the sights.

If you shoot any other technique, there might be an established protocol for cross dominant shooting, but your best bet is to "upgrade" to isosceles.

I'm left hand, right eye. I shoot mostly with my weak hand because it lines up with my eye better. Or is it my strong hand because I use it more?

I think because I started shooting with rifles I just ended up getting use to using the same eye and hand.

These days when I practice, I switch hands and eyes. It's fun using a left handed dueling stance and aiming with my right eye.

I use to like weaver, but I now most of the time, I just square my feet and shoulders to the target and either hand I want to use works fine.

If the pistol is square to your body you can switch eyes just by tilting your head from one side to the other. It's also part of my practice routine.

I am a fellow RH LE here, shoot Weaver. Just picked it up and started doing that way naturally. I try to practice different stance and shoot with opposite hand to just in case a situation merited change.

                        Mix it up

                        Shoot weaver
                        Shoot isosceles
                        Shoot right side dominant
                        Shoot left side dominant
Shoot CAR method strong hand, opposite eye

                        Mix it all up

Left eye, right hand, and iso stance here. But does it matter with iso stance? I look square to the target, then bring the gun up and align.

Shoot Pistol on your dominate eye side.

Rifle you can change, but not pistol. Right eye dominate use right hand. Left eye dominate use left eye.

Clint Eastwood, Dirty Harry, that's correct, shoots pistol right handed, right eye dominate. But chooses to shot rifle left handed. Odd. Exceptions for brain injuries or eye injuries or macular degeneration or hand injuries or an entire host of body aliments.

I'm RH but LE dominant. I shoot pistol RH, but shotguns, rifles, etc. are shot LH.

I can shoot long guns RH, but will require an ocular patch for my LE as I can't seem to close my LE and keep the RE fully open. This is not good for multi-gun matches, hence, RH for pistol and LH for long guns.
