P226 Trigger hitting frame when pulled?

Is this over travel normal that there is evident wear on the frame?

Trigger is literally touching the frame each time the trigger is pulled.

    Adjustment needed?

Does the wear on the Cerakote get worse over time or it stopped?

Shame for a $1200 gun, although a tool, to have.

I should get a job in quality control. I seem to find flaws in everything I buy! Haha

You'll have a tiny wear from the contact. All of my Sigs have it.

If it bother you so much then put a tape on the area.

Get a PSAIT or PDACT trigger from Gray Guns. They have internal over travel screw, so the wear will be inside the frame

            Standard issue on LEGION series

Well only the first shot should be DA unless you are shooting a DAK

Get the sear/SRT/mainspring kit to go with the trigger - you'll love it
Our short reset trigger kit reduces trigger reset travel by about 70 percent. Includes bar-stock machined and finished steel sear, safety lever and spring.

I have SRT and PSAIT in all my Sigs. I will be swapping out some of the PSAIT for the new PDACT and getting a few of his sears too.

I read the following disclaimer on both triggers from the links above:

"This trigger may not be fully compatible with California compliant or similar P-series pistol models equipped with a magazine disconnector, and Grayguns urges caution. We do not recommend deactivating any mechanical safety device."

I have disabled my mag disconnector on my P226. Will this still be an issue?

It seems to have stopped after the initial wear.

Graysguns flat trigger a popular option here?

Give Mr. Bruce Gray (grayguns.com) a call, he's great to speak with and can afford you a lot of valuable personalized information and won't oversell you on anything.

All but one of my Sigs have been kissed by Grayguns and they're really nice. That lone pistol reminds me of how much i enjoy the modified/improved triggers.

I prefer a curved trigger likely as a result of what i've grown accustomed to. I do have a pistol with a straight trigger that i shoot well, so the contour does not seem to limit me however, i'm much more comfortable with the curved non serrated trigger face..

.... or perhaps its more natural for me to shoot a curved trigger?

                            Ok.

I’m interested in the flat trigger but both black aluminum and steel are out of stock. Is there an advantage of one over the other?

Also, any other authorized dealers for grayguns? I can’t seem to find any one else.

I have no idea. I do not / would not own any neutered Sigs.
