question about CZ75 Tactical Sport 9mm

I had the pleasure of using a CZ75 TS 9mm recently. What a great gun, it was very easy for me to use with better accuracy. Loved it. I am right handed and the mag release button was really digging into my left hand. Is this normal or was my grip in need of adjustment? Thank you in advance.

Also, they sell a ton of different grips for that firearm so maybe a different set of grips would fit your hands better so you could get better placement? I realize that that probably wasn't your gun you were shooting but it's a thought

I’ve never had that problem shooting my TS. I installed CZC slim aluminum grips on mine because the wood ones were too fat for my hands. It’s an excellent gun, if you get one you’ll be very happy.

The Tac Sport that you shot might have had an extended mag release. Was the gun completely stock or is it modified?

Even the stock mag release sticks out far but it doesn't impact my grip.

thumbs forward for me and it does this also.

haven't figured out what to do yet, but then again, only shot it once or twice.

                cz97b is fine.

Use one in steel shoots and never had that issue

I've got a TS in .40 with an aftermarket extended mag release, and slim aluminum grips. I shoot thumbs forward, and have never noticed the mag release impacting my grip.

My buddy has this gun and I noticed the same thing when he switched the stock fat grips to the thinner ones. So, he said he was going to shave off some of the mag release as he said CZCustom does the same thing with theirs.

Thanks for all the replies. I am going to guess that it was stock because it was a rental at a range. I could live with it but it was definitely uncomfortable. I use thumbs forward.
