I've been looking around like crazy for a mag lock for a vector pistol and can't find one. Anyone know if they exist? I'm at the point of just manufacturing one myself for compliance.

Currently, there is no new magazine lock design that is commerically available that will make it 2017 compliant.
The only method of making it a fixed magazine is to permanently attach (weld/epoxy/rivet) the magazine into the magazine well.
Current options for a semi-auto KRISS Vector pistol with a "bullet button" style magazine lock: (one of these must be done by 07-01-2018)
A. Register it as an assault weapon.
B. Make it a semi-auto pistol with a fixed magazine.
^Permanently attach a 10 round magazine into the magazine well.
C. Make it a featureless semi-auto centerfire rifle.
^Increase barrel length to 16" or greater and install grip wrap and install fixed shoulder stock so that the overall length is 30" or greater.
D. Parts.
^Disassemble it into parts and never assemble it while in CA. It is also prudent to store the parts in seperate locked containers/locations.
E. Take it out-of-state for storage or to transfer through an out-of-state FFL.
F. Make it permanently inoperable.
^Destroy the receiver per BATFE specifications.
G. Surrender it to law enforcement for destruction.sigpic

Remember, in order to be 2017 CA legal, the magazine lock needs to prevent the magazine from being able to be removed until the firearm's action is disassembled.
For the TDI KRISS Vector, the firearm's action being disassembled means...
