Zev PRO vs Zev Fulcrum trigger

Anyone have experience with these 2 triggers for the Glock gen 3? Which one is better for reliability and fun at the range?

IMO if it’s for the range I’d stick with the stock trigger and 3.5 connector. If your competing, then Zev triggers makes sense.

Had a Fulcrum in a 17L. I didn’t think much of the fulcrum to be honest with you.

Judging just by the way you’ve posed your question, it would seem as if you are somewhat inexperienced in the shooting hobby. Assuming you are talking about a Gen 3 Glock, I would recommend an OEM Glock DOT Connector or OEM minus connector. You’ll notice a drop in pull weight with either of those connectors, more of drop with the minus connector. If you want to change the pull weight further you can always play with striker springs, trigger springs, etc. However, I woul start with a connector first. Good luck.

I have a factory trigger with (-) connector and $0.25 trigger job with a couple thousand rounds down the pipe. Much lighter and smoother but still spongy.

On another frame, I recently installed the Overwatch Precision TAC trigger and a factory (-) connector. Still requires a few hundred rounds of break-in but I can already tell this setup is much smoother than a factory new stock trigger (which is in my P80 frame so I have been able to compare all three setups) and actually feels a bit crisper than my original (-) connector, polish job and a couple thousand rounds trigger I mentioned first.

I have not tried the ZEV's so you may immediately discount my opinion but throwing out there another option.

I’m not a Glock fanatic (I prefer hammer fired SA/DA). I have just one Glock a G40 MOS which to me has a very mushy factory trigger. I changed to the ZEV Pro. I like it much better than stock.

There are multiple reviews on aftermarket triggers, however, during live fire none of them experience better groups. Some that felt "better" actual produced worse groups.

Save your money for ammo and just use the stock trigger!

I actually like the stock glock trigger and shoot it well enough to get hits at 25yards with 115gr fmj but was looking for more refinement and tighter groups. Also i know that i kept the original post simple but yes i was looking for something down the line in case i decide to shoot competitively. Also i wanted something that was reliable.

Btw thanks for the input so far! Opened my eyes to improvements i can make to the stock trigger without spending a ton.

Maybe the poor grouping was because the aftermarket triggers felt so good most got carried away and just started blasting away.

Seriously though i find that hard to believe when Geissele triggers are above and beyond better than your standard trigger. And yes I've hit the search button several times considering an investment such as this.

Why not try the other/opposite way?

Having an NY1 trigger with a "-" connector has improved my technique, and I have had lots of fun with it...! More so, it will be helpful if you do competition (no, am not recommending the NY1 for matches; but for off-match practice).


A full-sized Glock with a stock trigger should be able to produce groups more or less confined to 5-inches, of course allowing for the occasional "flyers," at 25-yards.

I enjoy the shooting hobby hence why im seeking many different options with a standard glock and how i myself can be a better marksman with the platform. So buying a gun with an "excellent trigger" from the start is kinda not what im looking for right now.

Like I said - try a Glock NY1 trigger with a "minus"-connector. They are BOTH Glock OEM parts! Brownells has the "minus"-connector for about $10; the NY1 trigger is at about $2.

Dry practice with that for a month (would recommend the "White Wall Drill"). Put in some live fire practice once a week. See how your groups improve.

My general rule of thumb for people to aim for is is to be able to shoot groups equal in inches to the number of feet from the target.

Anyways, I guess I'm exceeding the expectations then...

I know that I wasn't using the B8 (coz the ranges wouldn't allow "outside" targets)... The small circle has a 2-inch diameter, the black in the large target is 5-inches.

The bullseye target is B8 sized, so do 10 round strings and try to score over 90 in 20 seconds.

Seriously??? In 20-seconds for 25-yards...??? Scoring over 90 means that I will need a group size of less than 4-inches...

Oh well, back to the practice drawing board...
