    Wilson Combat Berettas

    Good day to you all,

I've got a few extra bucks left over from my tax return this year and I was mulling around the idea of buying a Wilson customized Beretta. Does anyone have any experience with these? Is the juice worth the squeeze?

And before anyone starts in, I am aware they are not on the roster and I do not care.

Not interested in a 1911 in 9mm. And I will be buying it directly from them. Their listed price is $1195.

You can’t buy it from them as it is not on the CA Roster. You’re only way to acquire is via PPT, intramilial transfer, LEO Exemption etc.

Or you can buy the on roster versions and send them to WC for upgrades. I have one that was upgraded with all Wilson parts and it is MUCH better IMO

ETA: You said you don’t care about roster. If you’re exempt, then by all means, it is definitely worth it!

Personally, even at that price assuming that you are exempt from the Roster it wouldn't be worth it to me, if you are dead set on it then go for it though. The Beretta is a decent gun, I have one I sent to Wilson for some work because frankly it just didn't seem worth selling at the marketplace prices and its better with Wilson but its still not as good as a Sig 226, Sig Legion, 1911 9mm, in my opinion.

I'm just looking for something different. I have a few 1911's already, and I sold the sigs that I had because I just personally did not like them all that much and never used them. If I buy another 1911 it'll be in 10mm not 9mm. For some reason 1911's in 9mm just rub me the wrong way.

IMO, any factory hot rod guns will always be more valuable than a modified plain model, especially to a collector.

Guys, Cinnamon is a Bear, so he is roster exempt

I have one I purchased through consignment/ppt. I think it is an excellent pistol with nice appearance and very good trigger pulls. If you want to own a Beretta 92 type 9mm the Wilson is the one to get if you can find one imho.

They have them in stock at wilson. I plan to have them tune the action as well.

A few weeks back, Rocklin Armory had a WC Beretta for $900, and I'm not sure it had ever been shot. DA like buttah.

Have you looked at the CZ Shadow 2? Pretty nice gun out of the box, and there are options that will make it better. The added benefit is that the gun will hold or increase its value in California.

My friends and family disavow all knowledge of my existence, let alone my opinions.

According to this article, the Wilson Combat Beretta is the least accurate gun that was tested. I wouldn't spend my money on one but if it's on your want list, then by all means, go for it. I'd much rather spend my money on a CZ Shadow 2 or a Tactical Sport.

What is your ultimate shooting range pistol?“This pistol is really accurate,” we hear stated.“A tack driver for sure,” someone will say.Or, perhaps, we’ll hear that a pistol has poor accuracy.
