Buckmark with Burris Fast Fire 2 wont center

    Hello all....hoping for some help.
I have a Browning Buckmark with a Tactical Solutions barrel and site mount. I installed an old, but never used Burris Fast Fire 2. While trying to sight it in, it shoots about 6 inches to the right at 10 yards (bench rested)
The windage adjustment works...when I move it to the right, it goes even farther off target, but I adjusted it to the left all the way to the stops, and its still 6 inches to the right.

The site mount is also Tactical Solutions, and does not appear to be canted to the right.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Lifetime warranty on the Burris so send it back and have them examine it.

Could be red dot Windage not working. What model Buckmark is it? Given that you have a sight mount- those screws can loosen a bit on Buckmarks- and they need to stay removable for cleaning/slide removal.

Is the rail sitting down on the rear frame lug correctly? I have a Tac-Sol rail on my 1985 BM, and I had to slightly re-shape the frame lug because the end of the machined groove inside the rail interfered with it. Also, check to see if the sight is securely screwed to the mounting adapter, and that the mount is sitting flush on the rail, that the cross screw is not making it sit up in the rail cut. Do your best to troubleshoot everything before you blame the optic.

Well its not the optic. Put it on an AR with a laser boresite and the site is good to go. Time to find out whats wrong with my rail setup.

If it is not the optic, it is either user error in that the FF2 was not installed onto the rail properly or the mount and rail are not compatible. Is it possible that the mount is for picatinny and the rail is a weaver?

              Thanks all for the advice.
I am totally up in arms now. I bought a .22 laser boresight. Put it in the barrel and I can now adjust the FF2 both left and right of the boresite laser. Have not done anything else. It should be shooting dead on. I have been shooting for 40 years...I know that I am not doing anything wrong with my shooting...hell, I was on a bench rest and putting 3 shots on a dime without the FF2 using the iron sights.
Maybe it just fixed itself? something was gummed up and by moving the adjustment left and right a few times did the trick?
I totally want to just try and shoot a round in my living room into a phone book to verify, but had better judgement. Guess Ill spend the $ for an hour at the indoor range by my work during lunchtime to see if its fixed. Hate spending $25 to shoot 10 rounds but this is driving me nuts.
