      Since poster above offered it, sight pusher is ideal, but as long as there's no Tritium vial involved, a punch, a hammer, and ample tape to protect the finish can usually get the job done.

        Getting the OEM sight off is a piece of cake. What type of sight you install might make a difference in whether or not you need a sight pusher. When I installed XS big dots on mine they just slip right in and are held in place with glue and set screws.

        Check instructions on your new sights.
