    SIG 226 replacement sights.

I have to order some of these and my POI is a good 5 inches lower than POA.
If I'm buying them anyway any recomendations on A) best place to get them and B) Best ones to get for a little more visibility if it's darker. I'm trying to resist the temptation to get a laser sight until I am 100% confident that I would be able to shoot DEAD straight with irons in any conditions. (old man taught me that - wouldn't let me scope my air rifle until I could hold a good group with the iron sights first).

A bit more expensive than doing it yourself, but SIG will install replacement sights and sight them in for you.

I sent my P226 into them for night sights. They did an excellent job and shipped it back to me quickly.

When you replace the sights on Sig pistols, you will have to pay attention to the numbers on the sights. The factory sights are usually 8 on both front and back. For the rear sight, as the number increase by 1, the point of impact goes up 2". For the front sight, as the number increase by 1, the point of impact goes up 1".

what distance are you shooting at?
What numbers are on your sights now?

          I'm assuming this is a 9mm Sig...
