Oh snap... an uncommon barrel length with the original box too. And I've already blown my gun budget on a Ruger PC9 last week.

      I have a S&W 327 M&P R8 that is a much cooler gun.

How do you like the 327 round?

What caliber would you compare it too?

OP, I apologise if this goes off topic

I was not aware of the 327 round. It was a V8 (for Chevy), wasn't it?

I bought a box at my local BPS in 2013. Since then I've always used my reading glasses when purchasing ammo.

I don't think the 8 3/8in is all that uncommon unless they are rarer in pre model number 27's. 6 I believe is most common and everyone seems to want the 3.5in.

I don't have a 327 but I once found a deal on the ammo so good I bought like 13 boxes just in case.

I believe the 327 above comes in .357 mag.

                  Yes, it's the S&W *Model* (#)327 M&P R8. It is chambered in .357 Magnum.

8 round cylinder. Use moon clips for fast reloads, or load singly; either way, it's a Scandium N-frame Smith with a 5" barrel (35.8 oz!) and a Performance Center-tuned action. It's trigger pull in both DA and SA is a delight to shoot. It's SA pull is almost as nice as a MosinVirus-tuned 1911!

Sadly, I am selling this gun to fund a short vacation. First world problems...
