Back when PPC was a thing (Practical Police Competition, I think) a lot of competitors would put a Colt barrel on a S&W Action. They preferred the smoothness of the S&W double action, and the weight of the full underlug Python barrel. Have to remember that back then a NIB Python was less than $500. A NIB Smith was around $400. Times have changed.

That is not a horrible price on that Python either IMO - too bad it is not C&R yet.

And remember when they had the mag in that SG551 installed backwards? Seems like maybe the person updating the website isn't a hardcore gun nut like us Calgunners.
