Anyone have suggestions on nights sights for my Springfield Range Officer 9mm? I love the gun but hate the sights.

Mine was not staked and I bought a pusher and installed a Dawson red FO...and love it. Way easier the align now.
There is another thread with the same question and the OP has a front sight with a role pin with some photos...I guess there are a few versions...Wilson Protector .45, Springer 9mm Loaded, Franchi Instinct SL .12ga. and some other cool stuff for the kiddos...Comment

No idea why anybody would want night sights on a "Range Officer." Lighting at ranges can be pretty abysmal but none of them I've been to were totally dark.Originally posted by HopetonBrownDo you shoot a lot in the dark? If not, Harrison Design plain black rear with a fiber optic front is very nice on a Range Officer.
If you intend to shoot in the dark a lot, I'd suggest a quality handheld flashlight and a shooting class that covers low light tactics.
To my eyes the glare from the front sight makes it pretty difficult to focus."He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

Range officer night sights
One of the most common sights I install on customers guns. Excellent product. They will need some fitting to the dovetail as they do come oversized though as do most 1911 sights.
