    Round butt conversion grips

Does anyone know of a grip company that makes a round butt to square butt conversion grip that extends a little farther below the frame??. I just picked up a S&W 60-14 round J with a set of CTC laser grips and sadly my hand is just too big. Way back in my teens I could palm a basketball, but no longer. Anyway I'm finding the CTC's are just to small for me to handle a smaller .357. I've looked at the Altamont site and also the Houge. Altamont makes a square butt conversion called the Altai, and also a Combat which has a little more extension below the butt for the little finger. Now if they could combine the two I'd be their huckleberry... :-) They also make a grip called the Bateleur that's a little fatter which would help too. Anyone know of another company, or dealt with this problem before?? I like the gun for concealed carry, but I may have to go to something larger in a K or L frame....

I would call Hogue and ask to talk to Pat. They make things that are not in their catalog.

As you say, perhaps a K or L would be better. If you want light, a 2.5" 19 might be nice. My personal preference would be a 3" 19 or 66 (for CC), but hard to find. I have a couple of 3" L frame, a little heavy, but really nice to shoot.
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?

          Try Ahrends grips.

I'll give Pat a shout and see if they have anything that might work?? The only problem I can see is the price compared to Altamont, and the conversions are all for the K or L... If I had a larger K I probably wouldn't need to be looking... The J is the one that needs all the help it can get... :-)
