GLOCK: Ghost Ultimate vs Taran Tactical Trigger Kit

Please share your experiences for either kit. Although the Ghost kit is half the price, I have heard that there are problems such as rougher action on the slide and double firing at will. Have these mentioned problems been remedied?

Just get a glock - connector, lighted striker block spring and polish. Will give you a nice pull and be safe.

$0.25 trigger job gets my vote.

I've looked into triggers and there is no definitive answer as people are looking for the takeup and crispness of a 1911 which won't happen. Ever.

I have the OEM minus connector and did the polish job 700 rounds ago. This is just accelerating what trigger time and resultant friction to parts will do. My trigger feels smoother than my other factory stock trigger (new) but I would say my sigs in single action feel better still.

My experience is not with the factory trigger shoe but with the Apex trigger shoe and bar, with the ghost connector it was very mushy, but I put in the TTI kit and it's a very clean break now.

I’ve had a Ghost connector in a Glock 30 that would sometimes not let the trigger reset, And yes I am 100% certain it was installed correctly or as to Ghost’s installation instructions. A friend of mine had a similar problem with a Ghost connector in a Glock also. I got rid of any aftermarket connectors I had and stuck with all Glock OEM connectors. Been smiling ever since.

                  Not looking good with Ghost.

I may just go with the Glock Minus Connector. Is there a significant difference vs. Stock?

I've never polished glock internals. Ever. All my glock triggers are 100% stock (the 34 comes w minus connector).

They all have several thousand, if not more rounds through them. The lowest actually is my 1,905 round 17 I bought to run into a high round count. They just need to be shot. Don't throw money at it yet

I have the Ghost evo, the Taran and the Glock.

I’m stubborn, I have to try things.

The ghost evo caused the slide to jam every now and then. The Taran didn’t really do anything for me over the minus connector. The minus connector was a slight improvement to stock.

I stuck with the minus connector. I can sell the Taran or the Ghost to you half off, with a 100% return policy

I can almost guarantee this is from riding the reset too tight and then the inertia from the recoil alone causing your finger to cross the break ... resulting in unintentional double tap.

I’ve been using the Taran connector only in one of my 17s and haven’t had a single issue with it.
