G36 - Does this look correct?

Okay so I'm a 1911 and XD owner. Now a glock owner. So I'm looking at this and of course I've never seen this space in between the slide and frame on any of my other pistols. So before I go and shoot it I want to know if you other glock owners can tell me if this is normal on the G36?

    Thanks
    Mac

It's called the infamous "pignose" and unfortunately it's normal on many Glock's.

Okay...LOL...I see the term "pignose" and how it fits. So should I be worried about its operation and function? Do you think glock will exchange the frame if I send it back?

        Thanks

Nope, they won't exchange the frame, 'cause that's a design feature, not a flaw. Very common on Glocks.

              No they won't exchange it.

It will shoot fine. Glocks are made in mast quantity, as quickly as possible and as cheaply as possible.

I have to think the upward curve is intentional.. they all seem to have it. None of my frames are 'flat' on top.

That would be MASS quantity. I guess you paid a lot for your guns but not too much on English class, eh?
